After completing the spreader light installation yesterday, we left Port Ludlow at 6pm for an overnight run to Neah Bay. Instead of taking shifts, we decided to both stay awake until midnight, having two minds processing navigation as night fell. Matt took a midnight to 3:30am shift, then got to get some sleep until 6:30am. Our new AIS radio and chartplotter outputting the position and info on towing and cargo vessels to the chartplotter was invaluable. We arrived in Neah Bay this morning around 11am, and spent the day refueling (us and the boat!). We are staying in a slip at the marina, giving us easy access to showers and stores. We are the ONLY sailboat here, all others are fishing vessels - very different from our home port in Everett. We are planning to stay here for 2 nights waiting for some weather to pass, then start heading down the coast on Monday.

Happy to hear you are made it to Neah Bay! Keep the photos coming. How was the night time run? Happy to hear the new chartplotter is working well! So, no other sailboats @ Neah Bay; wonder what that means? Was hoping you could possibly travel down the coast with company. I will try to call later this afternoon; mom in Cleveland until at least Monday night. Greg is doing fine; i.v. antibiotics needed for 6 wks.
